Fellowship Church

Holy bible detail

About Us

And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,
That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your young men shall see visions,
Your old men shall dream dreams.
And on My menservants and on My maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days;
And they shall prophesy.
I will show wonders in heaven above
And signs in the earth beneath:
Blood and fire and vapor of smoke.
The sun shall be turned into darkness,
And the moon into blood,
Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD.
And it shall come to pass
That whoever calls on the name of the LORD Shall be saved.

Acts 2:17-21

Freedom Chapel was founded from a deep desire to worship freely, unbound by traditional constraints. The church was established from a heartfelt desire to worship God in spirit and truth, free from the limitations of human tradition. Sensing a call to enter a new season of spiritual renewal, a group of devoted believers sought to establish a church that embraced true freedom in worship and ministry. The founding members sought a church where they could serve with passion, embrace authentic fellowship, and grow under Christ-centered leadership. The new group of members was led by dedicated member Amos Guidry’s vision to create a spiritual home where believers could experience the fullness of God’s presence without constraints.

The Birth of a New Church

In October 2020, a pivotal moment occurred when approximately 35–40 individuals, including church officers, laypersons, and youth, felt led by the Holy Spirit to step away from their former congregation. This decision was not made lightly; it was the result of deep spiritual hunger and a longing for an environment where worship was not confined by man-made traditions. These pioneers sought a renewed focus on biblical truth, heartfelt worship, and a ministry that prioritized discipleship and outreach.

Recognizing the need for strong, Spirit-led leadership, the congregation made a heartfelt plea for pastoral guidance—someone who would shepherd them with full-time dedication, providing both spiritual nourishment and compassionate care. Their prayers were rooted in a desire for a church that reflected the early Christian community, where faith was lived out boldly and without restriction with spiritual leadership that would nurture their faith with full-time dedication and care.

A Season of Growth and Renewal

After months of prayer and preparation, Freedom Chapel entered a new season of growth. By August 2021, the church began to take root, welcoming new members who shared the same passion for worship and service. With a renewed sense of purpose, the congregation embraced its calling to be a place of refuge, renewal, and revival.

The early days of Freedom Chapel were marked by unwavering faith, unity, and perseverance. The congregation faced challenges but remained steadfast in their commitment to building a church that reflected the heart of Christ. Through fervent prayer, dynamic worship, and dedicated ministry efforts, the church continued to grow—spiritually and numerically. Today, Freedom Chapel stands as a testament to the power of obedience to God’s calling, providing a place where believers can worship freely and grow in their walk with Christ.

The Legacy of Freedom Chapel

What began as a small group seeking freedom in worship has blossomed into a thriving church community committed to glorifying God, serving others, and spreading the Gospel. As Freedom Chapel moves forward, it carries the legacy of those early pioneers—men and women who stepped out in faith to create a church where God’s presence is honored, His truth is proclaimed, and His people are empowered to live boldly for Him.
